Alumni Association

"The Cal State East Bay Alumni Association facilitates a lifelong connection between the university and alumni. We engage students, our alumni of tomorrow, by building relationships and passing on the culture of service and philanthropy. Together with our campus partners, we keep community stakeholders informed, involved and inspired about the university and our alumni successes."

Did you know?

There are more than 130,000 Cal State East Bay alumni in the East Bay and Northern California Area.

We believe that getting the most out of your university education includes experiences in the campus community alongside other students, as well as in the seminar room. We encourage students to take full advantage of the opportunities and resources available to you.

Cal State East Bay is home to over 150 student clubs and organizations, addressing student needs and concerns ranging from academics to recreation, culture to politics, and much more. Visit the Student Life and Leadership site for more information about joining or starting a student club.

The Graduate Student Society (GSS) is the program's student organization, open to all Department of Communication graduate students. The GSS elects its own officers and meets regularly to socialize and to discuss research and concerns, and organize events. The GSS charter is renewed annually with the campus Student Life and Leadership office.

The Dept. of Communication is also home to the (PRSSA). Membership in this national organization is almost a right of passage for students seeking careers in PR, Advertising, Marketing, Public Communcation, and other related areas.

The campus student government, Associated Students Incorporated (ASI), provides funding and other resources for all approved student organizations on campus.
